Intercultural Workshops

Our workshops involve:

a) an introductory seminar giving an overview of the opportunities for cross-cultural ministry involvement. Four to six hours of interactive time with pastoral staff and lay leadership.Main seminar structure:

  • What are the realities?  - demographic/cultural aspects
  • Why does it matter?   - biblical/theological aspects
  • How do we respond?   - practical/structural aspects

b) an advanced seminar involving the philosophical implications and practical challenges of intercultural ministry in a local church.  Several hours (flexible) of interactive time with pastoral staff and lay leadership.Typical subject areas:

  • racial reconcilation
  • cultural barriers
  • intercultural leadership
